A Side You'll Forget

All he has to do is find what women truly want

He’ll get what he deserved

He drank the courts poisonous gaunt

His mistakes will be preserved

My head hurts from no sleep

His actions are haunting me

Am I crazy for standing on bare feet

The physical pain gives glee

He hasn’t found the answer

He’s probably having nightmares

I’ll be on his grave as a dancer

Why don’t the others give him glares

Why does it hurt this much?

Why must I bare this weight?

I freak out by a single touch

It’s my fault I took the bait

Are they being logical?

He’s being allowed to live

He’s no knight, only diabolical

He should be held captive

Everyone forgot my pain

What about what I desire

I’m disregarded for being insane

I feel like I’m on fire

The old hag is his wife

But she was never an old hag

Her shining beauty gives me strife

His happiness is more than a drag

Once upon a time

Lived the forgotten woman

Who lost her mind’s dime

Became no longer human
