SIDEBURNS
SIDEBURNS
Twisted states of burning emotions, toiling deep inside your oceans.
Depths that I die a thousand times to reach.
Deep into the emotions cast on the seas, the abyss of the heartless I rest asunder.
Looking at sin in a suit, I would drown my pride a little, just to feel;even a heart that hardly feels, could bring mine to heal.
Take me in a soulless flight, ease me from my loss of might, remove this aching pain from me
Let me touch your face; a mirror of realities I've yet to see, grasp my soul just a little please.
Flood my lips with hollow kisses, melt my body to nothingness, even just for a moment of intense bliss
Bliss that I've never felt.
Pardon my neediness; I've yet to be accustomed to the eagerness of another.
Eagerness that brings me back to life.
I've been dying a slow death in this, a living world.
Surviving, not living;this cold cruel world, filled with subtle beauties of insecurities, lingering souls and forgotten homes.
Take me back home as you press your sideburns on my raised chest.
Place your trembling arms below me; take me a thousand miles from here; somewhere that's more familiar.
Living this weary life for so long, its time for rest.
Rest my soul and be at ease, for in this life's journey, wars are raged in the name of peace.
Lives wasted, souls torn to shreds laid to rest on bed of nails. Give me peace;rest your sideburns on my chest.
Rest it easy, its time. I draw my last breath.
