Sideline Dream

She's waited, she's practiced she is now ready.

She runs out on the court,

takes a dreep breath and tries to stay steady.

This is her moment, her time, no messing up now.

She catches the ball, she doesn't know how

but she shoots it, she scores!

She hears the crowd scream!

She opens her eyes,

On the bench with her team.

and only then does she realize

it will always remain just a sideline dream
