Sidelines
It's funny how one kiss can ruin everything,
Like someone's opinion,
Like your reputation,
Like your mind,
All it takes is a misstep and you will be blamed,
But it was your fault!
You could have stopped it,
Why didn't you say no?
But she leads you on and promises you are safe,
You cant help but smile,
You cant help but melt,
You cant help but kiss her back,
Suddenly it's not a game anymore,
You aren't playing with feelings,
You are playing with fire,
Both of you are soon to be burned,
But she has you on a leash,
Pulling you back when you turn away,
Pulling you back when you ignore her,
Making sure you can never leave her,
She has become someone else,
You don't recognise her tone,
You don't feel so safe anymore,
You get the feeling you should run,
But you can't run, remember?
Because she has you trapped,
Trapped in her web of lies,
Trapped in her spinning web,
No one else notices,
They are careless robots,
They are just obeying the system,
They are just swimming with the stream,
But you are caught in the tides,
And you need to get away,
There is no escape,
You need to escape!
Everyone knows,
They all hate you,
To them you are scum,
Scum of the earth, a cheater!
Cheater,
Liar,
Whore,
Slut,
She is the victim and you are just the heartless side hoe,
Your side of the story doesn't matter anymore,
You aren't a person anymore,
You become the problem,
You are the problem,
You shouldn't exist,
You shouldn't have been born,
You deserve to crash and burn,
Burn...
