sigh

i lit up  his eyes

complimented him

showed him my world

i twisted his thoughts

i showed him the beauty in my world

his soul diligently tried to latch to mine

i danced with a lost conservative in a pretty museum

i showed him what i thought was important

i define myself by how easily i left him and the many before him
