Sigh

You sigh,

And the sigh

Sighs back.

You cry,

And the tears

Wipe their faces.

You scream,

And the scream

Muffles its voice

With a hand

Called FEAR.

You speak,

And the words

Dissipate into air,

Leaving a bitter taste

On a bitter tongue.

You feel everything,

But you wish only

To feel numb.
