Sight

Sometimes I sit out

In my house alone,

And wonder aloud

Whether or not

It is all for naught.

The sadness, the poverty,

The cold unfeeling

People walking by

Every day.

Could I change,

Something, anything,

I would change

How every day,

Everyone walks by,

Uncaring,

And sees the world

without Seeing.
