SIGNALS

SIGNALS

(by Ayesha Khalid)

attitudes differ in different humans
they are quite similar to colors on the road signals

when driving fast we wish to go ahead with a green signal
but all of a sudden we have to stop when seeing the red signal

when the red signal is crossed it becomes dangerous
losing patience increases anger which becomes perilous

yellow signal directs to control the speed
when mind takes over the heart we should pay a heed

when the color is green it is indication to move forward
better attitude takes a human higher and ahead upward

roads hold signals to control the flow of the traffic
heart and mind control attitudes which are humane and horrific

life is too valuable and so quite precious
controlling attitudes makes life so auspicious

violating signals becomes an offence
then no one can do anything in one's own defense

breaking red color and losing attitude puts one at stake
but positive vision can make the life a very juicy sweet cake
