Signs

Hey, what’s your sign?

Oh me?

Well I’m a Gemini

Now see

When I tell people my sign

They automatically assume I’m a

Cheater, Know it all, Two-faced

Just to name three

And maybe I am those things

But that isn’t all of me

I mean I love to talk

Don’t get me wrong

And yeah my mood changes a lot

But that isn’t all that I have up my sleeves

You see

I have a wild imagination

My mind races with ideas every second

I’m described as intelligent

But I ain't that smart

You’ll see me in the back of the classroom

With my head down because I’m too scared to talk

Now see

I ain't as bad as they made me out to be

I’ll be there for you like how a mama bear is for her cubs

And I’ll treat you like you were the best thing that has ever happened to me

But don’t forget I’m also unreliable

My sign does not define me

Ice Cube

Kendrick Lamar

Angelina Jolie

Marilyn Monroe

Shoot even Kanye West

You see

They are all Geminis

So I wouldn't mind being compared to thee

Just Remember

Next time when you ask me

My sign does not define me
