Silence

My favorite sound is actually the absence of sound. To be lost in a moment, in complete silence. You're looking into someone's eyes and saying everything you need to say by facial expressions. The sounds of completeness, love, safety. We can't necessarily hear them all the time, but they're there. Bird chirps, laughing, warmth; safety. The lack of sound is profound. From people's blank looks, to the confusion of who will lead a group. Silence is bliss. From it we learn to talk in different ways. We make sounds all the time through emotions. At times we are actually screaming in complete silence. That's what makes it so great; expressing something so loud in silence.
