Silence

Silence.

It's what I hear when I listen for you.

I look for you in the same place

Only to find you the same way.

I long to hear you speak to me like before,

When you would guide me, when I couldn't guide myself.

I want you back.

Sometimes I hear you when I listen really close,

Telling me that I'm making the wrong decision.

I know it seems like I don't need you,

I know I look like I'm fine,

But I'm not.

I'm still lost,

I'm still looking for you.

I'm still sitting in the silence,

Waiting.

Waiting to find myself.
