Silence

It's the harsh sound that rings in your ears,
the noise equivalent to a bee sting.
The white noise in your head vibrates,
all you want it to do is cease it's unearthly pitch.
Like a headache, your head begins to throb.
The source unknown.
A war between inner peace and an unknown fear.
It hides behind a framed face,
stalking you behind a bright smile.
It can't be seen, only felt, when
it takes over your body.
The strength it has changes every fiber.
Silence subdues us,
But we must fight back.
