Silence

Some say that it can be comfortable or relaxing

But when you look at me

There is a silence that seems deafening

It makes my heart clench and my breath stop

It creates a world in my mind where chaos erupts

I feel as if your eyes are scanning my entire flaws

Every blemish

Every hair out of place

When you look at me

A silence passes through us

That kills me every time
