Silence

There's nothing to listen to

Nothing to feel

Cold, empty, dead inside

Staring blankly at the wall

Remembering a time when

Music gave you emotion

Filled your hollow chest with bursts of warmth

Made you who you were

With dreamy beats

And haunting acoustic

When the world was filled with splashes of color

Made you laugh, made you cry

But now there is simply nothing

Only splatters of gray

And you can't feel sad

Because you can't feel anything at all

What is a world without music?

It doesn''t seem like a world at all
