Silence

I sit quietly
idly
I've planned the silence,
I need the silence.
While they're all asleep,
alone in their separate beds;
I've planned the silence
I divulge in the silence.
Their bickering is replaced
their noises are erased
right out of the air
as if they were never there.
The only sounds are the house
and I
I beg for them to douse
me in goodnight
so that I can enjoy the silence.
Noise causes to much violence.
