Silence

1 Peter 2:15

15 For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good

Silence is consent

Accusations fly … no-one speaks up

to defend the accused, who is absent.

Innocence lost as they'll pay the cost,

for through silence, they gave consent.

There is no excuse … just silent abuse

as they self-righteously enjoy the drama.

It makes them feel good as they brood

the downfall of one who came here to calm us

They feel so right these quiet bright

for they think to be the chosen leaders?

About chosen by who they, have no clue

as heart in hand towards the end, they fear us?
