In Silence
She's suffering silently
Keeping her emotions under lock and key
She makes sure no one ever sees her pain
She makes everyone think her demons have been slain
That they are out of her brain
But they aren’t gone as quickly as they came
She's always fighting the emotions they're inciting
She has a mantra she's reciting
To combat the words that sound so inviting
Ones like “you should try dying”
She tries to get past what they are implying
They leave her crying
But no one will ever see
Because she deals with it silently
