Silence
Silence...
Silence is the killer of the dreamer
When he sits down in a world that has pushed him to stand up;
Courage shot down preflight by past mistakes that play on repeat in the mind of a defeated conqueror.
Silence oils the hands of a fighter; making his efforts vain. Dare I say nonexistent?
Silence is holding the head of someone who is thirsty for life under the wave of the world in which they long to live
Silence...
Silence, they say is golden... but all that glitters isn't gold.
Silence; is not literal its a metaphor for a wasted existence
For denying the things our hearts require
The things we desire, but let the world take from us!
Silence is crying out that you are a victim...
Attacked more than once, you are officially a volunteer.
Silence is lying down to be entrapped while you preach of freedom,
Silence needs to be broken.
Not through useless noise, but by those who can speak up and stand out when they are prompted not provoked to do so.
Giving a voice is giving a life to a world that is constantly dying, succumbing to the epidemic of silence.
Silence is criticizing without offering solution; diagnosing without offering a sure.
My suggestion to gaining that voice;
Break past fear and intimidation. Stand strong and assured in your position in this world. Bemoan the thought of being life’s volunteer victim and speak out.
