The Silence

The Silence.

It's all around me.

I reach for it

yet it fades away.

"Why do you leave me?," I say.

But it was gone long ago.

People around me don't hear it,

but it's calling,

calling everyone.

If only you took the time

to stop and listen,

you'd here your name being called.

Reach for it,

it will fade,

but listen,

and it will stay.
