Silence

I don't want the silence

But it comes crawling in

Into my ears, and

I can't help but reflect upon

Myself

I try to stop it

But I can't help think

How ugly I am

They say I'm beautiful

How my friends lie

I don't want the silence

But it comes to me

As I lay here

I like the hustle and bustle

So I can't hear it

The voice, that yells insults at me

I don't want the silence
