The Silence After

The silence after,

My world feels shattered.

Tears roll down my body..

bruised and battered.

Time slows in the wake of the disaster,

during the fight- it couldn't move faster..

Who is at fault..the actor or the reactor?

Do my feelings even matter?

Lately it feels like they aren't even a factor..

I miss the love, the smiles, and the laughter.

Manipulation,

you're the master.

Can you truly love someone and then attack her?
