On Silence and Noise

As one runs through a bombardment Of brand names Screaming, Flashing, Influenced by the ephemeral, Decided upon the temporary, Hasting to listen to as much as possible To the sounds all around Stuggling, Straining, Stressed by the volume, Overwhelmed under the pressure, Collecting himself to the point of overflowing, With the noisy things, Shouting, Swarming Lost to all other things, Buried under the things gone and past, he experiences the most silent noise ever Created. He is alone, truly listening to nothing, although the sound is everywhere. As one rests in the bedding Of the Created things Sitting, Breathing, Forgotten by the distractions, Set upon the future, Stopping to be active in the absence of motion With the Peaceful things Waiting, Thinking, Comforted beyond doubt, Calmed by the essence of life, Feeling the untaught breath exit and enter From the Hopeful air Floating, Repeating, Assured by the natural things, Held by the eternal certainty, he experiences the loudest silence ever Created. He feels togetherness, experiencing everything, although nothing is making a sound.
