Silence Is Louder Than Words

Talking the talk and walking the walk

That's what's supposed to get you by

Waiting, watching, listening to nothing

Because silence is louder than words.

Sitting, wondering, waiting for nothing

The truth lies in your eyes

The pain the sorrow, the hopes for no tomrrow

Is the loudest scream that's never heard

Battle scars and invisible wounds,

Invincible to everything, according to those who claim they know you

You wait, you watch, you listen

The misery is so obviously hidden

Because silence is louder than words

So make your words quick, and make your words count

before you know it, you'll be down and out

when the chance is given

Make the silence listen.
