The silence of shadows is

The silence of shadows is lost in the meaning

I can't look past the veil of the suprise

The surmise, the completion, diluting my senses

I've tried this route before, to no avail

It shatters my perspective and destroys my perception

Reality is crumbling and fleeting,  falling away

Like sand in an hour glass, we only have so much time

I'm through with this life, it's time to rise up

To conquer my inhibitions, to avoid these temptations

My vices once dragged me down, but now they lift me up

I have turned pain into knowledge, and knowledge to experience

The darkness that once surrounded my clouded eyes has given way

To be a light to others, so they may not have to go

Through the misery, the pain, the complexity, the mirage

My pain can be a vehicle for others to succeed

And maybe, the one thing that brought me to my knees

Can make me infinite
