Silenced

Trying to speak the words that your mindt wants to say.

Always holding back because you dont want someone to turn away.

Constatly sticking up for a person who feeds you excuses.

If only you could see how much your absence has hurt me.

If only you could realize that most of my accomplishments were for you to see me.

But as I get older I realize I will no longer be silent for you.

I will no longer let my accomplishments be for you.

Every time you open your mouth to tell me another excuse I will turn away.

I will no longer be silent because you will hear my voice and what I have to say,
