Silenced Poet

The silenced poet wants to breath

Wants to live

But dares to make a noise

Pushed away into a corner

Told not to let a peep of sound come through

Is told to dream big, think big

But rug is always pulled from under dreams

Contradictions confuses the soul

Not knowing who to trust

Not knowing to walk or run

To whisper or yell

To go or stop

To live or die

To be silent or make a noise
