Silent Cries
Just because I have it better off, doesn't mean I have it good.
Just because I dont live on the streets, doesen't mean I live in a home.
Just because I'm alive, doesn't mean I live.
I cry and cry but no one hears me. The screams are to loud.
The screaming of my loved ones. I have no where to turn no one to trust but myslef.
It doesn't seem like God can hear me, over these screams.
It scares me, it really scares me.
I lay awake at night thinking of all the things I could have done differently.
All the things I should and shouldn't have done.
I have no where to go and nothing to say.
So I sit here quietly hoping someone will ask if I am okay.
It makes no difference, if they ask i'd say I was fine. That's true pain,
where you want nothing more than to share but thats trying to be an adult.
I'm so scared ofwhat will come for me tomorrow. And what won't be.
