Silent Cry

You can try to scrub yourself clean,

Imagining it's just a dream.

A clear bottle of soap rests on the tub,

And this nitty grime won’t fade.

This is me. This is me.

He left his mark, even if it can’t be seen.

I tried to scream and fling,

But all I did was freeze.

He wouldn’t leave without a sting.

First he kissed me, then he wanted more.

My tears freezing on my skin.

I feel like a whore.

This is a fight I cannot win.

He rips off my clothes,

I’m now yelling no.

Time slows.

Im naked from head to toe.

He’s pushing between my thighs,

And now he’s inside.

I just want to die.

This is my battle cry.

No one will know, no one must know.
