Silent Dock

Waves crash against the rocks

Whittleing away the stone

Removing the old beaten docks

Leaving one all a lone

The remaining dock has but few boats

Each one looking newer then the last

All hidden like a note

All acting like a cast

These boats begin to float away

Leaving but few at the dock

Few boats will ever stay

Others will leave at the ding of a clock

Leaving the lonely dock

To find itself a lone once more

Through time the dock becomes like rock

Showing the boats who are flimsy the door

The waves of time bring more boats

Most simply leave for fame

Others cover the dock like coats

Becoming one in the same

Boats on a dock much like friends in school

Either use you like a home, or a tool
