Silent Fire
Silence wrapped around me
Creating a barrier
Between me and the world
Words burned in my mouth
As if I swallowed a flame
Fury flared in me
Wanting them out
I burst open
Gone with the timid and shy
Replaced by burning desire
To speak my mind
Like a phoenix rising from ashes
I am reborn
