Silent House

A rustic home on the edge of the lake,

Quietly sitting.

It's residents are inside,

Silent.

A thickness hangs in the air;

You can't even breathe.

Just on the other side of the water,

Laughter can be heard.

But the Silent House can drown any happy sound.

Come here,

Maybe you could bring some warmth?

Or maybe,

We'll kill you like everyone else.
