The silent killer

The silent killer got my grandma

It grabbed her and didnt let go

starting at th unterus it took over her body

consumed by greed it spread to her lungs

the silent killer killed my granmda

it gave us no time to process

it happened to quick

even though time seemed to slow

I think it was just to prolong the pain

Greedy little cells infested her body

attacking any and al healthy tissue

while on the outside she seemed fine

she laughed and smiled and talked

while she slowly walked towards death

It could have chose anyone

why did it have to be her?

The silent killer needs to be stoped

to many precious lives it has taken

to many people to avenge

but how can we stop something we have yet to understand

the silent killer dosent just kill the host

it kills the people around them

family, friends, neighbors, lovers

The silent killer has an actual name

it goes by the same names in multiple forms

lung cancer, ovarian cancer, uterian cancer

it is all cancer none the less

the silent killer is cancer and killed my grandma
