Silent Me

Kind of shy I am.

And anxious at times.

Too scared to speak in class

Even though I may have something to say.

Longing to be the outspoken girl but

You will not hear me say more than I have to.

Nervous is how I feel a lot of the time

Maybe in the future, I’ll grow out of it

And maybe I’ll be this way forever

eXtraordinarily quiet is just how I am

So if I don’t talk a lot, don’t be

Offended. It’s nothing against you, talking is

Not strong suit.
