Silent Men in Silent Suits
Silent men in silent suits,
Across the valley or through the trees,
In the depths another look,
One is is orange, one is yellow,
It's the darkness they don't fear
Silent men in silent suits
Silent men in silent suits,
Er the daybreak gone again,
weeks to months and back again,
it moves so slowly, yet never stops,
finds a weakness, waits to feel,
Silent men in silent suits,
Silent Men in silent suits,
Crushed beneath the quivering body,
Along again but never alone,
Were it to say "and high five today",
It might recede in a dash,
Silent men in silent suits
Silent men in silent suits,
A great rear burden,
A great long time,
It is not enough to do that much,
So over there they could see,
Silent men in silent suits,
Silent men in silent suits,
A rush of color,
A sound so sweet,
If or where, it never says,
Until the time you come aboard,
Silent men in silent suits
Silent men in silent suits,
Attempt to flee across the square,
A little here, a little there,
A strong one, a weak one,
But never to win,
Silent men in Silent suits
Silent Men in Silent Suits
A stroke of light,
A willow there,
The deck did spring,
A new gray there,
Silent men in silent suits
If it were me what would I do?
Help what may?
Forget and delay?
Pressure others in hypocritical style?
Or try so hard to be burnt out?
If we were certain we could try...
To help at least a sufferer,
To pool as one to commemorate,
A certain kindness, and endless rose,
A mercury of emotion to further fold,
An undying light to see the way,
A crux of attrition to hold
We were told before to slide along,
Across the path so often born,
Of phony style and evil song,
A fire bright, a cult of corn,
A candle maybe, to leave atop,
A manger on that broken pillar
So if we are to control that spite,
A nervous wreck, an uncontrolled flight,
It stands to remember, at least in part,
Of a certain standard, a certain ordeal,
That paints a picture not so dark,
Of silent men in silent suits
