The Silent Miracle

I am crawling

On a rope

Each inch I pass

I find joy and hope

There are knots that interrupt

And people that judge

But a mysterious force

pushes me so I never stop

One day I passed a mark

I turned my head and startled

For not the distance of the rope

But my younger self's shadow

For the way it turned out

It sure is a miracle
