Silent Night

So many voices

chattering their teeth,

spreading lies and deceit

wherever they please.

So many voices—

when will they stop?

for I cannot hear myself think.

They pierce the veil to my spirit.

So many voices,

going on and on,

without a care in the world,

without a care for my heart.

So many voices

with such overbearingness;

why cannot they realise

I require some silence?

So many voices;

I cannot count them all.

Bring me peace, o Mighty One,

for I am at a loss for some.

Silence the voices once and for all.
