Silent Reverie

Into a tempest I ascend

Engulfed by darkness

The winds take me up to mend.

Drained from tautness,

I wend my way through vicious gales

To rise to greater heights.

The resilient always prevails

In the grueling fights.

When the light fades out,

Others flee whereas I remain.

Countless reasons to rout,

But my struggles are not in vain.

I will wait as long it takes

For the winds to sweep me off my feet.

Heartened as the earth quakes,

Heavenly light will be my greatest feat.

Loosing inhibition that it’s woven in my soul,

I let go.
