A SILENT SINGER

A SILENT SINGER I wish I could write music Turn my words into a song Set my poems down to a tune And hear people sing along Words I have no trouble with Getting them to rhyme But I’d like them on the radio So I could say that song is mine Imagine all the people Hearing what I wrote If someone like Ed Sheeran Could sing them note for note Music really is a gift But it’s sadly not my thing So I’ll just keep writing poetry That no one will ever sing. ©MANOJ KUMAR PANDA
