Silent Tears

My tears are silent an unsteady wind broken promises and still abandoned I've fallen through the trenches drenched with solid rain because i have faltered and displaced my name My heart cries silently untouched and unheard torn from love and branded with a burn I've begged for you to notice this displaced piece of me but still your head is turned as my soul cries silently you've taken my love for granted intentionally, i guess but you never stopped to realize how hurt i am by this I'm beginning to wonder how this all sits with you 'cuz i've been living to the standard of the words"I love you" My tears are silent they ride alone like a lost baby bird trying to find its way home As the lit torch in my life you took the lead now the fire is out and its all up to me My tears are silent i hope you can obtain though you won't care to notice that i'm forever changed I guess this is it it's the end of the road a Dead End sign that places my life on hold

I've been through a lot and poetry has been my saving grace. It gave me a voice when i was shunned. Poetry has changed my life!
