Silent War

Its the weather of your dreams

The day that makes your paradise,

      sunny and warm,

but bearable thanks to the cool wind.

There I am.

In Mexico.

Elbow sticking out,

Arm laying over the door,

Window rolled down all the way.

There I am.

Leaning against the seat.

Listening to the Oldies,

eyes closed

Feeling the warm sun

  Reflect of off my shades

    My brown shades

And drinking Arizona

Iced Tea.

The wind was getting stronger

as the car sped up,

blowing my hair

into my face,

into my nostrils

I felt like sneezing.

Was it tickling my boogers?

I grabbed one strand of hair

But another one

Took it’s place!

There I was

Having a silent war

          With the wind

Help!

All my hair was attacking my face!

And I couldn’t breathe.

I felt like Medusa!

With serpent hair.

And as I fought

all my dad did,

Was laugh at me!

Gee thx! ;P
