Silent Words
Bound by the people that have abused me, Dried tears gliding off the mask I wear. Dragged down into the muddy pits of the streets. Screaming out, straining my throat. Being pushed back down, over and over, night after night. Even in slumber, I cant run very far. So many doors and hallways ahead, yet it feels like a maze that never ends. The lights dimming behind, forcing me to move forward. Moving forward to the next day, breaching the silent of the mind. My voice stains like a new born. Grasping life by its hand, Making life a place better then the last. A new dream without nightmares. My words will be heard even if its just me screaming in the park, No more silence. Blooming into that sunflower that brightens when gamma rays touch my face. New day has begun with a goal to become a voice to lead on the voiceless to a new world.
