Silently
Is it wrong to be annoyed?
I feel like it's all about you
All the time
24/7 365
You never look at the good
Only verbalizing the bad
You say your life sucks
Is it bad that I don’t give a fuck?
At first, it was fine
But now it's all the time
It gets annoying
Hearing you whine
You downplay what I'm going through
Saying I don’t have a clue
That I have no room to talk
You belittle me and my experiences
You always bring it back to you
Making it clear I’m number two
I get it, life isn’t easy
But you never know what's a facade
You don’t care to prod
And figure out if anything is wrong
You always draw attention back to you
So I sit quietly
Just listening silently
