Silently Screaming
I’m silently screaming. I’m yelling words unheard by the human ear, unseen by the eyes of life.
I’m pounding the walls of my brain, breaking the doors of my heart, asking for help through the
silence of the air. The concert of my brain, my emotions. If only someone could hear a decibel
unheard by anyone else, if they can see my invisible pain, my suffering. As I am surrounded by
laughter, life, love, happiness- I am silently screaming. My heart is beating at the metal of its
lock.My emotions are dying to be freed. Yet no one with the ears of power has found me, and if
they have, they have refrained from helping me,leaving me in the cold, listening, to my silent
screaming.
