The Silken Spider Heart
I'm afraid more than anything that what I've seen in you is found only in you.
Never have I seen anyone demonstrate such a real and undying and unshakable love like yours.
Not even for family or friend.
The light in you is so unbelievably bright.
Without it in my life I am blinded.
Like walking into a cave from the bright sun.
The rest of the world is rife with only darkness.
Can I shine like you do?
Or am I doomed to forever stumble on the stones of life, beaten slowly to a bruised and bloody shell of a man that once was full.
Each day harder than the last with its new burdens and torments piled atop the already quivering mass of exposed nerve and abrased flesh.
Locked in a large and complex machine of my own creation.
Powered by fear and generating only hate.
You've done the impossible
You've left the spider caught in his own web.
If I can escape it.
If I ever do.
I'll always know.
It was thanks to you.
