The Silly Goose Game
I sit crisscrossed in the silly goose game
I wish and I might
I wish and I might
I wish and I might that I will be chosen
I wish and I might that I will be golden
But no one chooses me
They run round and round like silly gooses
But i sit like an odd duckling
I sit with a frown for not being picked
I am the runt of the litter, the uncared, the unwanted
I pray for change but prayers aren't filled often
So i wait patiently for somebody to answer
Until Gabriel with a smile touched and poked and made me the silly goose
My heart no longer sad I jumped and skipped, for the silly goose was already within
A rainbow tint across my heart
I play and giggle and drop quick
