Silver Dragon
a silver dragon in the sky
a shape of power,
mist and wonder
a shape of dreams
and life itself
the reality of
the enthrall in my chest
a beauty so
selfless and true
horns and whiskers
adorn its face
every scale
made of glistening frost
shimmering water
and liquid wrath
the dragon is
a frightful creature
never harms,
but its beauty hinders
a glimpse into
things unseen
like a step in a puddle
made of solid sheen
a feeling like
you should be able to touch,
but your afraid,
to get lost in the gleam.
