Silvia the Slipper
Silvia the slipper
was an old and worn out shoe
on Cinderella's foot she stayed
until one night she grew
Cindy's hair was flawless
and her dress a real treat
but the most exquisite items
were the slippers on her feet.
Silvia had changed, it seemed,
into a shoe of glass.
She was finally beautiful
and could forget her past
And as she made her way
down the stairs into the ball
her eyes were met fondly
by the most handsome shoe of all
Before she could breathe
it was time to go.
Cinderella took off running
but Silvia said NO!
It isn't fair to leave
if I just met my man
so you can leave without me, Cindy.
I hope you'll understand.
She threw herself off
and tumbled down the stairs
and waited an eternity
until her prince was there.
