Simple

A simple word can easily kill

A single sentence can make you feel ill

A single touch can warm your soul

A single embrace can make you feel whole

But none of those will crush this bad

None of these can make you this sad

I'll die more and more inside

Now that I don't have you to confide

I utter your name with tears in my eyes

You'll sit there and watch as my heart crumbles and dies

Never before have I loved so deep

And no one this important has caused me to weep.
