Simple

The simple things

The pitter patter of rain on the roof

The bright smile with the sweet scent of hot chocolate on his breath

The often sweet surprises hidden underneath

The simple things

The security in his arms under that warm blanket

The inside jokes and nicknames

The prodicted competition in boardgames

The simple things

The willingness to listen

The willingness to talk

The willingness to protect when anxiety comes to flock

The simple things

The smallest things

Make me realize it's all

Because I love you
