Simple

I wake to the eyes of the woman who grasped my heart

Valleys and mountains could do no possible wonders for they cannot separate

The mind of the man whom looks upon her.

I am just a simple man

Colors they bloom, and music plays through times as they both change

However, when I look upon you I see nothing but the maturity of love

how can a man like I be captivated in time by you and your smile?

a smile that imprisons this beast of a man.

I am just a simple man

Fascinated by the beauty you possess

Non the less I figured I’d sweep off your feet as if in a fairy tale

But no fairy tale captures beauty such as you do.

I am just a simple man

But you, you are no simple woman

You’re not the past and you’re not the present, your my future

And there is no whisper of simple in that.
